Pinckney Community High School - NEW LOCATION!!

If you are currently a student attending any of our Spring Session classes, it's no secret what the theme for this year's showcase will be. And truly, didn't we all see this coming, even a little bit?

This June, Tree of Life instructors, students and special guest performers will be paying tribute to the unrivaled legacy of Michael Jackson. By drawing inspiration from the King of Pop's most iconic dance steps, and staging pieces to musical selections which span all decades of his career, this showcase promises to be a celebration like no other!

The first round of information letters will be handed out to students and parents in the upcoming weeks, but in the meantime, here are some important things to keep in mind:

• Recital fees will be due no later than April 22nd.  This is a nonrefundable fee of $25.00 per student.


• This year, all classes will be required to have various costume elements, which reflect one of the many incarnations of MJ. Costume fees will be determined in early spring.


• The dates to keep in mind, and to mark on your calendar this instant are:


• Thursday, June 6th for Tech rehearsal
• Friday, June 7th for Dress rehearsal
• Saturday, June 8th for the Showcase


• Finally, and perhaps most importantly at this time, is to note that the showcase will not take place in Chelsea this year. Instead, we will be moving to the auditorium at Pinckney Community High School (the one on Dexter-Pinckney Road, not the old high school). Many of you have already performed there for various Pinckney Dance Program events, and know what a clean, well-maintained and welcoming space it is. And dancers . . . this year we will be dancing on marley, not old wooden planks!

If you will not be performing in the showcase for any reason, please do let us know as soon as possible, so that instructors can begin to envision their choregraphy with an accurate count of dancers.

So get excited!  This show will be a wonderful event for all lovers of music, drum and dance, and especially for all of those family and friends that adore Michael Jackson as much as we do!

Sunshine harmony yoga for everyone - kids yoga workshops

Through music, story-telling and interactive games, your children will explore how yoga poses can help them quiet their minds, get in touch with their feelings as well as strengthen their focus, coordination and balance.
