Due to the amount of fun all of us ladies had during our first run of girls night out and our introduction to Burlesque.... We will indeed be offering another series!  We will meet up every other Friday from 7 - 9 pm beginning January 20th for a total of 6 fun filled, sassy, sexy dance classes.

This is your opportunity to unleash your flirty side and become free from your inhibitions.  We will explore the world of burlesque as we learn sassy dance moves while using various props and  discovering graceful ways to peel off our satin gloves. Learn why the art of seduction has more than one approach.  Are you a flirty sex kitten, a steamy seductress, or a wanton wild woman?  Using traditional burlesque techniques and classic  strip tease movements you’ll learn th e art of slow sensuality, flirtatious teasing and hard hitting sexiness.  Workshops will improve strength, flexibility and cardio – everything you need to make him beg for more. Burlesque combines elements  of acting, modeling and dance. It cultivates confidence, bold femininity, and a sense of humor.  Bring your booty shorts, barefeet and a boa if you have one. 

Must be 21 or older.

Come join Creole du Nord on Saturday, January 21st  for a stomp in the swamp!  Savor some musical jambalaya from N’Orleans with tunes featuring cajun, creole, zydeco and swing rhythms.  The cold won’t follow you into this boogie bayou.

From 7:00 to 8:00 PM, Tree of Life instructors will teach some basic  two-step Zydeco to get those feet tappin'.  Then, dance the night away to the sounds of Creole du Nord from 8:00 to 11:30 PM.

Tribal Fusion workshops & Hafla with Jenabah @ CZIGANY STUDIO

Saturday, Jan 28th from 12 to 11 pm
Instructor: Jenabah

Tribal Fusion Technique & Drills: 12 to 2 pm

This workshop will focus on fine-tuning various Tribal Belly Dance movements by gaining a deeper understanding of where, in our bodies, those movements come from. We will drill and learn tips and tricks to achieving those lovely arms, beautiful hands, precise hip movements, pristine drops and spectacular spins. Bringing it all together as we explore further with formations and group improvisation is what tribal style is all about!   

Tribal Fusion Combos: 3 to 5 pm

Add some new vocabulary into your tribal repertoire with original combinations by Jenabah. From earthy to upbeat, Jenabah fuses movements from Brazil, Spain, India, East Africa and West Africa with basic tribal moves. Take home with you the Sevillanas Spin, Indiama Walk, Samba Shimmy Shake, Lets Go, Whirlwind and The Demon Drop.

These workshops are open to all levels, though some familiarity with basic Tribal movements and concepts will be helpful.
