Jessica Snyder
Jessica has been dancing since she was two years old and practicing hatha yoga for 13 years. While living in New Mexico over the last decade Jessica dove deeply into the practice and study of world dance, yoga and Ayurvedic medicine from India. Whether performing or teaching, her passion and understanding for these healing arts is interwoven with one another. She was introduced to American Tribal Style Bellydance in Albuquerque, NM and went on to co-found two Tribal Bellydance troupes there. She spent several years teaching and performing in and around NM. During these years she completed hatha yoga and AyurYoga (an integration of Ayurveda and Yoga) teachers trainings and became a certified massage therapist and Ayurvedic practitioner. Jessica currently practices bodywork and teaches AyurYoga, Kids Tribal Bellydance, Tribal Technique and YogaBelly at the Tree of Life Cultural Arts Studio. Her intention with teaching is to encourage a sense of joy, self-awareness and inner balance through deepening our connection with the elements that make up who we are.
